LEDAS
Leeds Destitute Asylum seekers Support (LEDAS) run two houses which each house up to 4 destitute asylum-seekers with No Recourse to Public Funds. We work collaboratively with Leeds City Council who provide grant support, and with PAFRAS who provide referral and case-work for our residents. Our aim is to provide family-style housing, in which the residents have dignity and independence. Housing essentials, food and an allowance are provided. Haringey Migrant Support Centre (HMSC) runs a weekly service for migrants providing advice and casework on immigration, welfare, housing and community care issues. The Gap
The Gap is a community charity in Newport, South Wales, which runs The Sanctuary Refugee Welcome Group. The Sanctuary runs a range of activities throughout the week. Refugee Women Connect (RWC) is a support and advice service for women seeking asylum, refugees and their children. We run drop-in sessions each week, where women come for casework and to socialise. We also offer mental health support.
