Welcome Churches exists to see no refugee alone in the UK. We do this by inspiring, equipping and resourcing local churches across the UK to welcome refugees and asylum seekers in their local community. Our main project, Welcome Boxes, gives an intentional welcome newly-arrived refugees and asylum seekers within the first three months of arrival in a new place. Our Welcome Network also profiles refugee-welcoming churches across the UK so that they can find a ‘welcome’ from local people when they first arrive in a new community.
