Refugee Women Connect (RWC) is a support and advice service for women seeking asylum, refugees and their children. We run 3 drop in sessions each week, where women come for casework and to socialise. We also offer mental health support. We have a developing casework project, advising and advocating on behalf of women on the asylum system and support, as well as welfare, health and issues such as destitution and detention. We are increasing our advocacy capacity on a wider level, and are involved with local campaigns against detention.
