Huge thanks to all who attended our AGM yesterday in Manchester, the home of the first ever NACCOM meeting in 2006. A decade on, representatives from 19 Member organisations came from as far afield as Southend and Glasgow!
The NACCOM 2020 Vision and Strategy was shared and Dave gave an update on accommodation figures from this year’s annual survey.
We also received this year’s annual accounts and heard an update on advocacy, media and communications work. Members can access resources from the day including slides and handouts via the Library in the Members Area.
It was also very encouraging to hear stories from network members, including from two individuals, who had experienced destitution, sharing the impact that accommodation had made to their lives. Thank you to all who spoke from the Boaz Trust, DASS Project and London Hosting.
In 2017 we’ll be incorporating the AGM into the Annual Conference, which will take place next September. Full details to come shortly so watch this space!
