West Yorkshire Destitute Asylum Network (WYDAN) is a longstanding network of organisations in West Yorkshire concerned with issues affecting destitute asylum seekers. It became a CIO in 2014 and over the last two winters has run a night shelter project for destitute asylum seekers. The team are now hoping to get the project running all year round. Although based in Leeds, the shelter takes referrals from other areas, including Wakefield.
