The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local projects to support children and young people who are at risk of exploitation or harm, and have been let down by the systems meant to protect them. We work with children and families with a range of migrant statuses including refugees, unaccompanied and other separated migrant children, and destitute or homeless migrant families, as well as children who have been or are at risk of trafficking, exploitation and abuse. Our refugee and migrant frontline services provide advocacy and advice for children and families across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Coventry, Leeds and Newcastle. We provide advocacy and advice to support young people and families to access accommodation and other necessary support, as well as supporting them through youth groups, activities and befriending.
