On May 24th, NACCOM is hosting its first ever one-day event focusing on accommodation and support for newly recognised refugees. The event, which takes place at St George’s Conference Centre in Leeds, will explore accommodation models within the network supporting newly recognised refugees, and is aimed at existing providers, as well as those exploring how, when and if to get involved.

Activities throughout the day will address how providers can effectively meet needs, develop capacity and work with others. Sessions will include input from Local Authorities and Housing Associations as well as NACCOM members.

Alongside workshops full of innovative ideas and top tips, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about changes to support pathways during the move-on period, with a representative from the Home Office sharing about  the Post Grant Appointment Service.

Tickets for the event start from just £10, and will be on sale from today until the 16th May.
