This month, Alastair Murray, former London Development Coordinator at Housing Justice, and Will Sutcliffe, Hosting Project Coordinator at BEACON, announced that the time had come for them to step down as NACCOM Trustees.
We want to publicly thank them for their commitment to the network and wish them well. Will has been involved with NACCOM since 2009 and a member of the Steering Group since 2012. In 2008 he set up, and remains Coordinator of, BEACON‘s longstanding Hosting Project. He is also the founding Chair of Bradford City of Sanctuary, and has been a director of Abigail Housing since 2009 and Chair of their Board since 2014.
Alastair has been on the NACCOM Board since January 2016 and Vice Chair since early 2017. Within his role at Housing Justice, he has supported the development of Church and Community Night Shelters and the London Hosting Network (which the team at Housing Justice continues to coordinate). We are so grateful to both Will and Alastair’s commitment to the network and to the wider cause of ending destitution, and wish them every success for the future.
NACCOM will be recruiting new trustees in the new year, so watch this space for more details.
