Could you be a NACCOM Trustee? We are looking for up to four new trustees to strengthen and diversify the skills and experience of the Board for our national network.

The Trustee Role Description can be downloaded here.

We are particularly looking for people with experience of;

 financial management and oversight to take on the role of treasurer
 leading a small refugee-led group supporting destitute asylum seekers
 campaigning and advocacy
 working in the wider homeless sector
 seeking asylum in the UK with lived experience of destitution

We are also keen to have a good geographical representation and so would particularly welcome applications from individuals living and working in London, Scotland, Wales and the North West of England, although we will also consider applications from other parts of the UK.

NACCOM is a growing and ambitious charity established in 2006 to support organisations that provide asylum seekers, refugees, and other migrants with housing and other assistance to prevent their destitution. The network has grown to represent 48 member organisations housing over 1,900 people last year.

Having reviewed our vision and strategy the Board of Trustees and existing staff have agreed plans to; increase our support to strengthen and maximise existing members impact, encourage further growth in capacity within the network by attracting new members to join/start up, and develop an advocacy and campaigning strategy working in partnership with others to reduce the effects of destitution.

Read our latest impact report, including a summary of our 2020 Vision and Strategy, here.

This is an exciting role for individuals who want to shape the future development of the organisation to make a big difference to the lives of increasing numbers of destitute asylum seekers and refugees and those that support them.
