Communications Co-ordinator
This is a crucial role to further our work of ending destitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants with no recourse to public funds. This key role focusses on working with our 90+ members ensuring they are kept up to date and informed on activities within the sector and more widely through our mailing list, Facebook and Twitter account. You will be responsible for co-ordinating media relations as required to support member organisations raise awareness of their projects and the issue of destitution. Working alongside our Policy and Advocacy Co-ordinator, you will work with people with lived experience of being destitute to ensure they can communicate their experiences more widely.
Key details of the post:
- Salary: £26,470 pro rata’d. If based in inner London there will be an additional £3,405 per annum pro rata’d
- 22.5 hours per week with 25 days annual leave per annum pro rata’d
- The post is home based or, depending on location, there may be the possibility to be based in one of NACCOM’s member organisations. There will be extensive travel around the UK. The postholder will need to be in a location which can easily access the majority of our members (who are based in England) via train.

Operations Co-ordinator – Maternity Cover
NACCOM is recruiting for an Operations Co-ordinator to cover maternity leave. This is a crucial role to further our work of ending destitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants with no recourse to public funds. This role is essential to ensure the smooth running of NACCOM. Based in Whitley Bay with the National Director, you will be responsible for ensuring our financial record keeping is in order and all administration is well organised. You will support the team in the running of various events, as well as ensuring our members database is up to date.

- Salary: £23,866 pro rata’d
- 30 hours per week with 25 days annual leave per annum pro rata’d
- Temporary maternity cover post for at least one year
- The post is based in Whitley Bay

Policy and Advocacy Co-ordinator – Maternity Cover
NACCOM is recruiting for a Policy and Advocacy Co-ordinator for maternity cover. This is a crucial role to further our work of ending destitution amongst people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants with no recourse to public funds. This key role will bring together the evidence on destitution from our members, collating it to show the scale of destitution. Working with other organisations, members and those with lived experience you will develop and implement our advocacy strategy, producing research reports and parliamentary briefings as necessary and working with others to lobby for change.
