This year, the NACCOM Annual Conference and AGM is taking place at the Bridge Centre in Stoke on Trent on Friday 15th September 2017, from 9.30-5.30pm.

Doors will be open from 9.30am for registration and refreshments.

The morning session (starting from 10.00am) will focus on the launch of our 2016-17 annual report, including in-depth analysis of the findings from this year’s survey, and an exploration of key opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

We’re also delighted to announce our guest speaker, Estelle Worthington from Asylum Matters (formerly Still Human Still Here and Regional Asylum Activism Projects), who will be sharing about the development of their work in 2017.

More details on the morning session and key note speeches to follow…

There will be a wide range of workshops taking place during the day on topics such as:

* Running a Night Shelter*

* Working with Housing Associations*

*Sharing Stories and Developing Case Studies*

*Growing Your Project*

*Helping with Transition to Refugee Status*

Delegates will be able to choose workshops in advance.

Details of these and more workshops to come shortly…

In the afternoon delegates will also hear an update from Sanctus St Marks, a NACCOM Member based in Stoke on Trent, and there will be plenty of time to network over a delicious lunch! There will also be a market stall area for delegates to find out more about other projects.

After the Annual Conference we will hold our 2017 Annual General Meeting. We invite all delegates to stay for this short but important part of the day, where members are entitled to elect/re-elect trustees and all attendees can hear more about the development of the network.

The AGM is expected to run from 4:30- 5.30pm.

After the AGM, we will go somewhere local to eat together. We understand that travel plans may prohibit you from joining us for this part, but if you’re able to stay a little later, please do!

More details and papers associated with the AGM will be circulated to delegates nearer the time.

We hope to see you there. Book your tickets today!
