HOST Nottingham is recruiting a Project Coordinator.

Hours: 15 per week (flexible)
Salary: £9,516 per year

HOST Nottingham has been providing temporary housing in local people’s homes for destitute asylum seekers and newly recognised refugees for seven years. Initially set up in response to an increasing awareness of the difficult position of refused asylum seekers, HOST Nottingham has recently expanded its work to include newly recognised refugees.

Our core work is managing placements which link up potential guests with volunteer hosts for an agreed time period.

We also run a clothes bank in partnership with the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum which provides free clothing and bedding to clients.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of the service and supporting volunteer ‘hosts’ and ‘guests’ (destitute asylum seekers or newly recognised refugees) and general volunteers, liaising with partner organisations and maintaining administrative systems, databases and our website.
