What is the scale of destitution and homelessness in the asylum and immigration system, and how are accommodation and support providers in the voluntary sector responding to the many challenges currently facing refugees and people seeking asylum?
We warmly invite members, partners and supporters to join us as we explore the current context facing organisations supporting people in the asylum and immigration system, and how our frontline members have been responding across the year.
The event is an opportunity to hear about the scale, impact and experiences of destitution and NACCOM members’ collective response through the launch of our annual membership survey data, which gives a comprehensive picture of the ways in which destitution and homelessness are being driven by the asylum and immigration system.
We’ll also be highlighting NACCOM’s key achievements in strengthening members’ practice and influence, and how our collective work is making the case for, as well as informing, short- and long-term systemic change through policy and practice.
The event will include:
➡️ An overview of the key data and themes that have emerged from this year’s annual member survey
➡️ How we have worked with members this year to make an impact
➡️ A summary of our annual report and accounts
➡️ An opportunity to vote for new and existing Trustees (Full members only – further information will be given to Full Members who attend)
