Immigration Advisor Street Legal (OISC level 2)

Praxis is looking for a OISC-level 2 immigration advisor for exciting positions working with non-UK homeless migrants. Led by their Migrant Destitution Senior Caseworker, you will be responsible for the delivery of immigration advice and casework to rough sleeping migrants supported by St Mungo’s services. You will need to sensitively explore the options for homeless people to regularise their migration status and access services and support.

Positive Pathways out of Homelessness Worker
Location: Hope Housing, Millside House, 131 Grattan Road, Bradford, BD1 2HS
Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. We would also consider part-time applications for no less than 2.5 days p.w.

Salary: £20,495p.a.; £10.51 per hour

This exciting ‘Pathways out of Homelessness Worker’ post has been developed in partnership with and is partly funded by the Church Urban Fund and the Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation through Wellsprings. We have also received grants from the Safer Communities Fund and National Lottery to provide outreach support for homeless EEA migrants with addiction issues and to connect clients into a range of social support. As well as supporting our existing work this post enables us to further extend our services to provide further crisis and short-term interventions to a wider range of clients experiencing/or at risk of homelessness ensuring that clients accessing our services develop skills and resilience to live a sustainable life.
