Post: Housing Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Hosting on Oxford is recruiting for two roles:

Post: Service Coordinator

Salary: £21,000 pa (pro rata)

Location: Thames Valley area, with a particular focus on Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes

Hours: 22.5 per week.

The Service Coordinator has responsibility for ensuring the service runs smoothly and safely, assessing and responding to guest referrals and coordinating, facilitating and supporting hosting placements.

You will need experience of delivering high quality, confidential, user-centred services for vulnerable people. You will also need a general understanding of and empathy for the situation of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. The role requires strong partnership working, communication, organisational and IT skills. An awareness of boundaries and willingness to engage in regular supervision to promote self-care are essential.

We’ve created the new Service Assistant role to respond to the growth of our service provision. The job holder will support the smooth running of the hosting scheme, assisting the Service Coordinator in processing incoming referrals, volunteer applications and matching of volunteers to guests.

You will need experience of working in an administrative role, record keeping and data entry. You will also need to have empathy for vulnerable people, preferably refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. The role requires strong team work, communication, organisational and IT skills.

You will need to be able to work flexibly, including undertaking occasional out of hours and weekend work.

Post: Support and Integration Caseworker

Refugees at Home is recruiting for a:

Post: Host Coordinator

Location: Home-based/Brixton, Greater London

Salary: £27,500 per year

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are really excited to be expanding our team to include a Host Coordinator. This role will be central to the development of our offer and the ability to continue to be able to place our guests with volunteer hosts across the United Kingdom. Experience of working within a target led environment is preferred as this will be essential to the role.

The Host Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Manager to develop a host care and retention programme, drawing on the needs of our guests and current hosts. By working closely with the placement team, this role will increase our capacity in key areas, particularly in London. The role will also involve liaising with our Home Visitors who provide vital support to our Hosts and form part of our host support.

This role will primarily be based from home but will include working from our office space in Brixton on Tuesdays. This role will also include working Saturday and Sundays.
