Syrian VPRS Integration Support Worker

St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax is looking to appoint a Syrian VPRS Integration Support Worker. This post holder who will have responsibility for delivering a fixed term funded project supporting Syrian families under the VPRS scheme, working in partnership with Calderdale Council and other agencies across the borough.

The successful candidate will be proactively working alongside Syrian families to connect with their local community to aid integration. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, have experience of working alongside people with complex needs, and planning events or group activities. You will also be able to represent St. Augustine’s Centre at multi-agency meetings, and have an understanding of working in partnership with statutory agencies. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service check.

Welcome Centre Manager

City of Sanctuary Sheffield is looking for an energetic and creative person to manage the day to day running of the new Welcome Centre. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months (21 hours per week) on a salary of £26,822 pro rata (£16,093 per annum).
